Jai is a Master’s student in Civil Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he was awarded the Tishman Masters Fellowship. Working under the guidance of Dr. Vineet Kamat and Dr. Carol Menassa, his research investigates the legal complexities of automation, specifically designing liability frameworks for Human-Robot Collaboration in construction. He combines this academic rigor with his prior management experience in the infrastructure sector to bridge the gap between technical innovation and industry policy. An alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M), Jai is also a dedicated water polo player and swimmer.
