Ishaan Watts is a Master’s student in Machine Learning at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Previously, he was an AI resident at Google DeepMind, where he worked on continual learning and was a core contributor to Gemini 2.5 Pro. He has also worked as a student researcher at Microsoft Research, where his research on multilingualism and safety evaluations was published at several top-tier conferences. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D). Outside of research, he is a competitive triathlete.
