Jai completed his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in 2021 and is headed to pursue MSE in Civil Engineering from University of Michigan. He recently worked at Coal India Limited where he spearheaded the tender management cell. During his undergraduate studies, he led a project which involved systematic analysis of safety observation dataset from Kuwait construction site using machine learning aimed at improving the safety culture, reflecting his technical depth and problem-solving skills. Post his Master’s, Jai plans to pursue a doctoral degree to deepen his expertise and eventually become a bridge between industry and academia. His hobbies include swimming, water polo, and watching cricket.
