Srujan Penta

Srujan is a 4th-year Ph.D. student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on innovating die-to-die interfaces of chiplet systems for AI and HPC applications. During the Ph.D. program, he pursued a minor in Technology Innovation: Generating Economic Results (TI:GER) from the Georgia Tech Scheller School of Business. Srujan was awarded the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation scholarship to pursue his graduate studies at Georgia Tech in 2022. Previously, he graduated with a B.E. (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, and pursued his undergraduate thesis as a visiting student at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Recently, he was named as one of the fifty global 2024 QUAD Fellows by the Institute of International Education (IIE). As part of the fellowship, he was invited to the White House and the U.S. Department of State in October 2024 to represent India. Beyond his academic pursuits, he mentors students through the Office of Graduate Education and volunteers in the Department of Belonging and Student Support at Georgia Tech.
