Shashwata graduated with distinction from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani in 2018 with a major in Chemical Engineering. Following graduation, she pursued research at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras under the guidance of Prof. Pushpavanam. Her work on the self-assembly of inorganic nano-crystals was selected for presentation at Elsevier’s International Colloids Conference in Sitges, Spain and was awarded second place in the poster-presentation competition at AIChE’s ChemPlus-’19 at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. At University of California, San Diego, she completed MS in Nano Engineering on materials research geared towards semiconductor device fabrication and development. Currently Shashwata is working with The Indus Valley as a Manager, R&D. Previously,she worked as Research Engineer with Saint Gobain, Chennai.
