Saumya has been a social entrepreneur in India for the past 11 years. Saumya is the co-founder & Chief Program Officer of Kheyti, an agritech nonprofit helping smallholder farmers in India become climate-resilient through protected farming. She currently leads Program Design and has won various awards such as the Common Bond Social Impact Award, Kellogg Social Entrepreneurship Award and Mass Challenge Israel Diamond Award for her work. She is also a Zell Fellow, an Ashoka Emerging Innovator and was also selected as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneur in 2019. Prior to Kheyti, Saumya spent three years in the vocational training sector in India through YellowLeaf and B-ABLE. Saumya has done her undergrad from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
