Kartik pursued a Masters’ in Micro-Nanosystems from ETH Zurich. Subsequently, he completed his PhD in implantable medical devices at the Multi Scale Robotics Lab, ETH Zurich in June 2013. After working at MSRL till the end of 2013, he became one of the first employees in the quality engineering division of the newly formed medical device company, DePuy-Synthes, at Basel. He is currently Associate Director at Novartis Pharma in Basel, Switzerland.
