Gunjan Dhanuka

Gunjan Dhanuka earned his B.Tech. in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2024 and is heading to pursue an MS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Under his undergraduation, he distinguished himself with research internships at the University of New South Wales and Carnegie Mellon University. At UNSW, he worked on predictive analysis of COVID-19 virus mutations, while at CMU, he focused on Video Anomaly Detection. His undergraduate thesis addressed the Black Hole Router Attack in Network-on-Chips. He has industry experience as a Software Development Engineer at Rubrik, where he worked on scalable systems. Gunjan has been honored with the Reliance Foundation Scholarship for CS and AI (2021) and the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana Fellowship (2020). He aspires to work as an Applied ML Scientist/Engineer, developing robust ML systems for global deployment. In the long-term, he aims to establish a startup in India. Outside of academics, Gunjan enjoys trekking, quizzing, and playing video games.
