Eeshani is a Research Scientist at the GE Aerospace Research Center in Upstate NY, where she develops materials for commercial aircraft engine applications. She earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2022 from the University of Minnesota, focusing on high temperature ceramic coatings for jet engines and gas turbines. Her doctoral research earned recognition from the American Ceramic Society with the 2024 Morgan Medal and the 2021 Graduate Excellence in Materials Science (GEMS)-Diamond Award. At GE Aerospace, her work has been honored with the Science and Technology Excellence Award at the 2025 Engineering Recognition Day. Beyond her research, Eeshani is dedicated to supporting the broader materials community and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation, the non-profit wing of the American Ceramic Society. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. Outside of work, Eeshani is an avid reader, a Bharatnatyam dancer, and enjoys traveling.
