Bhawesh was awarded the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation Scholarship to pursue an MS in Health Data Science from Harvard University. He is currently a Research Engineer on the Health AI team at Google Research, where he works on post-training and evaluation of large language models for real-world consumer health applications. His work is especially focused on the reliability and fidelity of large language models in healthcare settings, with the goal of ensuring that models perform safely and meaningfully when deployed at scale, not just in curated benchmarks. Previously, Bhawesh earned an SM in Health Data Science from Harvard University and completed his undergraduate studies at IIT Kanpur, where he studied electrical engineering, physics, and biology. His long-term vision is to use technology to improve accessibility to healthcare and medicine.
