Aishwarya pursued the M.Sc. in Criminal Justice Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is a law graduate from National Law University Odisha, Cuttack (NLUO). Subsequent to her graduation, she worked as a legal researcher on issues relating to the criminal justice system, particularly on torture and the death penalty. At present, she leads the Law & Policy Research efforts at Zenith Society for Socio-Legal Empowerment where her work focuses on the Sahariyas, a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG).
