Srujan was awarded the scholarship to pursue Masters’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering Georgia Institute of Technology. Post his masters, he is currently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy – PhD, Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Srujan Penta has graduated with a B.E. (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science Pilani and pursued his undergraduate thesis as a visiting student at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received a merit scholarship from his college for all the semesters and was honored with the “Prof. L. K. Maheshwari Best Graduating Student” Award in 2018. Srujan has also volunteered as an academic mentor and an artist during his time at Birla Institute of Technology & Science Pilani. After graduating, he worked as a Senior Process Design Kit (PDK) engineer at Samsung Semiconductors for 3 years to gain an industry perspective. . He is driven to build expertise in novel devices and packaging technology and aims to design original VLSI systems by clearing integration roadblocks during his graduate study. His ultimate ambition is to provide sustainable semiconductor solutions by innovating in the VLSI industry. In his pastime, Srujan is seen in the avatar of a digital creator because he believes that representation in media is key to shattering erroneous stereotypes. He uses his Instagram platform to create digital content that discusses gender expression, body neutrality, and self-care.
