Shashank hold’s a Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka Surathkal and a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of California-Los Angeles with a focus on smart energy grids. He is currently a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Nextera Energy, the world’s largest producer of solar and wind energy. He is interested in the intersection of energy and AI, and tackling the global climate crisis.
