Shashank hold’s a Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering from NITK Surathkal and a Masters’ degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Smart Grid Energy Research Center, UCLA with a focus on electric vehicles and renewable energy as well as their effects on the power grid and economy. He is also a recipient of the UCLA Graduate Division Fellowship and TOEFL India scholarship. He enjoys reading, cooking, travel and tennis.
