Amit graduated with a gold medal for being first in order of merit from the College of Engineering, Pune in 2017 with a degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science Engineering. He completed his Master’s in Materials Science from ETH Zurich in 2021 and later worked as a Process Engineer – Optical Coatings at SwissOptic AG, Switzerland until 2025. He’s currently pursuing his PhD in nanofabrication at the Paul Scherrer Institute / ETH Zurich.
