Shruti Jagirdar is an international development consultant with experience in research, strategy, advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation. She is currently working with World Food Programme (WFP) as Impact Measurement Consultant, Changing Lives Transformation Fund. She has been a Policy and Training Manager at J-PAL South Asia, a research network headquartered at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and has worked closely with decision makers, donors and implementers to ensure policy is driven by evidence, and effective programmes are scaled up. Shruti has worked at the office of former Lok Sabha MP Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda, at the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C. and wrote a daily update on politics and economics for Foreign Policy magazine. She currently lives in Rome, Italy.
