Shruti Jagirdar is a Programme and Impact Measurement Officer with World Food Programme (WFP)’s Changing Lives Transformation Fund, a multi-million dollar trust fund strengthening the organization’s ability to address root causes of hunger and food insecurity. Her experience is in research, strategy, advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation to enable stronger programmes . She has been a Policy and Training Manager at J-PAL South Asia, a
research network headquartered at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and has worked closely with decision makers, donors and implementers to ensure policy is driven by evidence, and effective programmes are scaled up. Shruti has worked at the office of former Lok Sabha MP Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda, at the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C. and wrote a daily update on politics and economics for Foreign Policy magazine. She currently lives in Rome, Italy.
