Dr. Santosh Chapaneri is a Lead Data Scientist at Wolters Kluwer developing healthcare solutions using Generative AI. He received the PhD degree from Universityof Mumbai (India) and M.S. degree from University of Arizona (USA) in Electrical & Computer Engineering. He has published over 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and has 350+ citations till date. Earlier, he worked as a Software Developer at Patni Computer Systems Ltd., Mumbai, India and at Microsoft Corporation, Seattle, USA. At Patni Computers, he was involved in the Research and Development related to video codecs and was responsible for client interaction and preparing client deliverables. At Microsoft, he was a Software Developer for various components of Windows Photos and also handled the localization of the product. He has also an academic experience of 10+ years delivering courses and mentoring projects for undergraduate and post-graduate students at the University of Mumbai. His research areas include Generative AI, Machine Learning and Signal Processing. He is a reviewer for IEEE Access, IET Communications, IET Computer Vision, IET Electronics Letters, IET Signal Processing, and IET Transactions on Image Processing.
