Lavanya is a MA Economics graduate from the University of Chicago. She has a bachelor’s in economics (honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. With a particular interest in macroeconomics and development economics, she pursued the Applied data fellowship at Harris school of Public Policy, University of Chicago. She currently works as a learning specialist with Proximity Learning Inc. Her long-term goal is to pursue PhD in macroeconomics and become a professor. Lavanya is trained in Kuchipudi dance, Veena, Carnatic and Hindustani music. She also plays throwball and kabaddi. Her poems have been published in two books titled ‘The Great Indian Anthology’ and ‘Love, As We Know It’.
