Harsh currently works as Head, Equitable Transition Initiative at World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. Passionate about climate change and sustainability, he has worked for over 15 years at the intersection of energy, environment, and society across diverse roles and countries. Formerly, he led strategic marketing at GE Power, conducted policy research on industrial energy efficiency at Poverty Action Lab, and on developing off-grid electrification business models in Bihar at Husk Power Systems. He holds a masters’ degree in Public Administration from Columbia University (USA), and bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur).
