Divya has a BA (Hons) English degree from Hindu College, New Delhi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication/Broadcast Journalism from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication, Pune. She also has a Masters’ Degree in Human Rights Law from School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. A seasoned journalist for over a decade, she started her career with Aaj Tak as a Reporter and thereafter joined CNN IBN as a Senior Special Correspondent. She worked as Director-Research Programme with Amnesty International. Currently, she is the Director of Emergency Response, Learning, and Innovation at Crisis Action.
