Deeksha was awarded the scholarship to pursue Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford. She now works with the magic circle law firm as Associate at Slaughter and May, London. She completed her PhD in International Taxation from the University of Oxford and LLB (Hons) from Amity Law School, CGSIP University. She is also a trained Bharatnatyam dancer.
