Akshat Rathi was awarded the NSF scholarship to pursue research in organic chemistry at the University of Oxford. After completing his PhD, Akshat became a journalist and worked at The Economist and climate for Quartz. His work has won numerous awards, including the Overseas Press Club award and as a finalist twice for the prestigious Loeb Award. In 2023, he published his first book Climate Capitalism, which made it to the book of the year list for The London Times and The Economic Times.
