Bharan was awarded the scholarship to pursue MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan. He is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Apple Inc., Cupertino CA in the Silicon Engineering Group that makes processors that power Apple’s products ranging from the low power watch to the high performance Macs. He leads multiple teams that specialize in circuit design and RTL. A B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication from NIT, Karnataka, he has previously worked as Design Engineer with Texas Instruments. He completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering (VLSI) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Bharan has also previously interned at AMD Research in Colorado and Intel Labs in Hillsboro.
