Vikram is currently a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. He is working in the Energy practice area on Climate & Sustainability—unlocking the potential of BCG’s clients who are advancing the world. Before joining BCG, Vikram received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara where he developed digital work flows and toolkits for crystal engineering—leveraging atomistic simulations—in the pharmaceutical space. Outside of research, Vikram got up to speed in business via completing a certification in Technology Management at UCSB and successfully completing a consulting project for the Scientific Advisory Board of Shell along with his PhD advisor, Prof. Michael F. Doherty, on carbon capture. Vikram’s foundation is his Bachelors’ degree in Chemical Engineering from ICT, Mumbai (formerly UDCT). Outside of work, Vikram loves to spend time: i) with his friends over games and food, ii) on video calls with his family and loved ones, and iii) drone flying (his latest hobby).
