Shreya is a Partner in the dispute resolution practice at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai, where she focuses on domestic and international arbitrations. Her experience includes complex arbitrations under the major international arbitration rules (ICSID, ICC, SIAC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, etc.) for a diverse range of clients in industries, such as private equity, energy, commodities, construction, information technology and financial services. She is qualified to practice in India and New York
Shreya is a graduate of the National Law School of India University, where she was awarded a Gold Medal for Best Student Advocate. She completed her LLM from Harvard Law School as a Narottam Sekhsaria scholar. While at Harvard, Shreya practiced in Boston courts as an accredited mediator and was an editor of the Harvard International Law Journal. After graduating, Shreya worked in the international arbitration team at Cooley LLP, New York and later returned to Mumbai.
Shreya is currently serving as an Assistant Editor for the Kluwer Arbitration Blog, Asia Pacific representative at the LCIA’s under-40 Young International Arbitration Group and the India Co-Chair at Young ITA. She also regularly speaks and writes on contemporary issues in the field and teaches seminar courses in several Indian law schools.
