Prashanth is a gold medallist graduate in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. Currently, he is working as Sr. Product cost engineer at Amazon Web Services in Austin, Texas. Previously he worked as Operations Research Engineer with Intel Corp., USA. He received a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan (UoM), Ann Arbor, where he was a recipient of the William Mirsky Memorial Fellowship for academic and research excellence. At UoM, he worked on engineering laser-aided lightweight methods for various applications. He hopes to leverage this experience to develop cutting-edge manufacturing solutions for the semiconductor industry. He is also an accomplished tennis player and an avid aviation enthusiast.
