Monil hails from New Delhi and graduated from Shri Ram College of Commerce with a BA (Hons) in Economics 2015. She enjoys macroeconomics and finance, and also pursued actuarial science along with her degree. After working with Deutsche Bank post graduation, she joined Central Square Foundation in 2016, where she took up various roles as a Program Manager. Her work focussed on government-focused education projects in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh, supporting the strategic expansion of the foundation and venture philanthropy for early stage non-profits. She has completed her MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Post MBA, she has set up a venture studio, Meraki Labs, aimed at building impactful companies in India and is currently a partner there. Monil is currently Co-founder at TRUVA. She is also passionate about food – she loves cooking and writing culinary blogs, and is currently doing a project for a global food start-up, Deliveroo.
