Ram Smaran Suresh Kumar is a PhD student in Economics at Columbia University. Before his PhD, he worked as an Economist at Compass Lexecon in London for around three years, advising on antitrust and competition matters across the UK and Europe. He later worked as a Pre-doctoral Research Assistant at the Programme on Innovation and Diffusion (POID) at the London School of Economics (LSE). He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the LSE and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR. Outside of work, he enjoys running, yoga, squash, and trying out new vegan recipes – often all in one day!
