Mehul Dasgupta is a Manager at Bajaj Auto Ltd. and an incoming Masters in Business Administration (MBA) candidate at Harvard Business School, Class of 2028. A graduate of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT-KGP)’s Dual Degree program in Engineering Design and Manufacturing (Branch Rank 2), he has built over six years of operational depth across Bajaj’s manufacturing and EV businesses – leading international product lines across 70+ countries, co-establishing EV micro-mobility assembly, and pioneering automation on the shop floor as part of Bajaj’s World Class TPM journey. He is currently also contributing to product development at Sarvam AI, India’s frontier AI lab. His long-term mission is to protect blue-collar livelihoods through India’s green industrial transition – building a platform that enables Tier 2/3 automotive suppliers to access Industry 4.0 tools and green financing. Outside of work, Mehul co-founded Covid Help WB, a PPE-relief initiative during the pandemic, and regularly speaks at engineering colleges on careers in manufacturing.
