Govind is a graduate in Economics (Honors) from Hansraj College, University of Delhi and now headed to Harvard University to pursue Masters in Public Administration in International Development (MPA-ID). He has recently completed a Pre-doctoral Research engagement with the Global Poverty Research Lab at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He worked on meta-analyses of entrepreneurship-development and livelihood-protection as an awardee of the prestigious Banerjee Fellowship by University of Chicago for research in Development Economics. In 2021, he was also awarded the Legislative Research Fellowship (LAMP) to work in the Parliament of India. His long-term goal is to work at the policy-implementation intersection in India, in the capacity of government advisory roles in the development sector. Govind enjoys listening to and studying Ghazals to appreciate its art form and loves writing newspaper columns to engage with a broad audience beyond academia.
