Gayatri completed her BA LLB (Hons) degree from Jindal Global Law School in 2022 and will now be reading for the Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford. She served as Litigation Counsel at the Internet Freedom Foundation, where she appeared in landmark cases concerning freedom of speech, internet shutdowns, online censorship, platform accountability, and the right to privacy before various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. Beyond the courtroom, Gayatri has been actively engaged in policy advocacy on technology regulation and fundamental rights. She has contributed to legislative consultations, drafted policy submissions on digital rights, and authored reports presented to United Nations bodies. Following her time at Oxford, Gayatri intends to continue working at the intersection of law, technology, and human rights through strategic litigation, policy reform, and academic engagement. Outside of her legal work, Gayatri enjoys reading history and exploring themes in popular culture.
