Esha is a recent B.A. L.L.B (Hons.) graduate from Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur and is headed for her Masters in International and Development Studies with a specialisation in Environment and Sustainability to Geneva Graduate Institute, Switzerland. She has worked on environmental and energy issues at organisations including the United Nations Development Programme, Trilegal and Dentons Link Legal. She is currently engaged as a Program Associate at Kalpavriksh – Environment Action Group, where she focuses on legal and policy issues pertaining to forest rights, community-led conservation and biodiversity management. Esha is keen to explore energy and environmental policy from an international and interdisciplinary perspective. Her long-term goal is to become a practitioner at an international think tank, crafting multi-sectoral, sustainable policy solutions for energy challenges. In her free time, Esha enjoys reading historical fiction, learning languages, yoga and trekking. She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and Taekwondo player.
