Ajinkya Naik

Charu Gupta

Daattavya was awarded the scholarship to pursue MSc. in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford where his dissertation was on Calabi-Yau Manifolds and Mirror Symmetry. He is currently a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge. His research interests are at the intersection of mathematical physics and machine intelligence. His main focus is on developing tools for the discovery of new mathematics and analysing their structure. Other ongoing work includes studying interesting geometries that arise in string theory and mathematical physics, often through the application of machine learning techniques. Vikranta is now headed for his LL.M. at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in the concentration of Intellectual Property and Technology Law. He previously worked with Reliance Industries Limited and General Motors TCI-India. Throughout law school, he interned at several reputed law firms, in-house chambers, think tanks and law journals. He is passionate about the intersection of law, operations, and technology and aspires to work with law firms in the United States, eventually transitioning into an in-house counsel role. His interest lies in topics like business law, legal operations, technology law, and international law. A chess and badminton enthusiast, he also enjoys photography, cooking, and watching documentaries.

His research is at the intersection of construction project management, applied data science, and operation science. Outside work, he has interests in photography, filmmaking, and exploring places and knowledge. He has completed his Bachelors’ from Thapar University in Civil Engineering and then worked at Larsen & Toubro for two years.

Vishnu Prasad

Vishnu Prasad is a PhD candidate at the Department of Geography and Environment, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He has worked with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) on strengthening the housing, land, and property rights of stateless Rohingya communities in Myanmar. He has previously engaged with the Urban Research and Development Institute (URDI) and UN-Habitat based in Yangon, Myanmar. Before switching to urban planning, Vishnu worked on issues of financial sector regulation and social security for the unorganized sector at the IFMR Finance Foundation. He holds a Masters’ degree in City Planning and International Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an Integrated Masters’ degree in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

She has also worked as a research intern under Prof. Karen Macours, an esteemed agriculture economist for her projects with CGIAR (a global agriculture think tank) as well as a research assistant under Professor Francois Libois for his projects determining the impact of Community Forest Management in Nepal. She also worked at the World Bank as a Research Assistant at the Africa Gender Innovation Lab. In future, she wants to be a social entrepreneur in the field of financial literacy. Vrinda did an on-ground study of the Open Defecation Free (ODF) status of Ghaziabad city under the Swaccha Bharata Abhiyan program for Niti Ayog. Her research article co-authored with the then Deputy Advisor of the rural development vertical of Niti Ayog, Mr Padma Kant Jha, was published in the journal of the ‘International Conference on Solid and Liquid Waste Management and was also published by Springer Nature in the book titled ‘Solid Waste Policies and Strategies: Issues, challenges and case studies.’

Yash Bhati

Yash Bhati, is a B.Tech Civil Engineering gold medallist from Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University, Noida, and is now pursuing MBA at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University . Previously, he worked as a Senior Product Manager at GoKwik Commerce Solutions Private Limited. Prior to this role, he worked with a startup called Atom, bringing his total work experience to four years. He actively volunteered for 2 years with Womenite, a grassroots organization addressing gender issues during his college time as well. After completing his Masters, Yash plans to work in the US to develop his startup idea and gain more experience. His long-term goal is to establish a B2B fintech company focused on simplifying finance and compliance, particularly in cross-border operations. An avid reader, Yash enjoys expanding his knowledge through reading and has a personal library of over 90 books.
